Retro Activity": We've billed it as the strangest issue of Sonic you will ever read! Why? It could be because it's a completely backwards issue (and boy, do we mean it)! It has a lot to do with Knothole Village being in danger because it's three hours ahead. Just wait 'til you see what happens when Sonic tries to save it.
The Truth Is Out There": The madman himself may be gone, but his evil lives on. We're speaking of course of Robotnik's satellites, which link to each other while in orbit, forming a mega-sized space base. Meanwhile, back on Mobius, Sonic's parents are about to celebrate their wedding anniversary -- complete with new wedding bands fashioned from power rings. The celebration is cut short by the threat of the space base, and Sonic and the Freedom Fighters reunite in secret to investigate the mysterious satellites and who might be behind it all, and are spaceward bound to investigate. That is, if they can get off the ground -- for just as they are about to leave, they receive a distress signal from Sonic's parents urging them to return at once. What diabolical menace has befallen our heroes now? You have three guesses -- and the first two don't count!
Don't Call It A Comeback": The intrigue continues as Sonic and the Freedom Fighters return to Knothole Village to find only his parents there. Where did everyone else go? Fed up, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters take off into orbit to personally investigate the mysterious satellites. Now they're in outer space in search of answers_ and the culprit behind their friend's disappearance. But once they find out who the village-napper is, they might wish they'd never asked. This issue leads us into Sonic's 75th issue extravaganza!!!
I, Robotnik": Television comes to Mobotropolis. A royal ceremony is scheduled to be the inaugural broadcast, but what's this? A history of Robotnik instead? What's going on here? Whatever you do, don't touch that dial!
